 1. Initial Assessment

The first step of the process is the Initial Assessment- the part where the concerned state authority (generally the National Council of State Boards of Nursing) will analyze whether you are eligible to conduct the NCLEX exam or not.
You need to fill up an online form, and once your application is approved, you can give the NCLEX exam at your nearest center.

 2. NCLEX MCQ Exam

NCLEX is an online exam, which you can give anytime, anywhere. There are no specific dates, but once you get approval on the initial assessment from the respective authority, you must try to take the exam as soon as possible.
The Pearson NCLEX exam contains questions in MCQ format, which you have to answer to qualify for the exam with a minimum score of 75 out of 145.

 3. English Proficiency

The next step of the process is proving your English proficiency. This can be done by clearing English exams such as IELTS/PTE/TOEFL/OET, etc., whatever the country you are applying to accepts.
Clearing the English exam with a minimum band helps you in your visa application.

 4. OSCE Exam

This is the last step of the procedure- a practical exam that you need to clear to prove your excellence as a registered nurse. This exam is conducted by the nursing board of the country you are applying to, such as the Nursing and Midwifery Board in Australia.
